
AERIAL SILKS
Silks consist of a single piece of fabric attached to a rigging point at its center. This class is designed to guide participants of all fitness levels through the fundamentals of aerial theory, climbing, conditioning, and beginner poses, all while staying safely just inches off the ground. As students build strength and master the fundamentals of the apparatus, they will progress to inversions and more advanced skills. Defy gravity in this exhilarating class that will engage and strengthen every muscle in your body!
Training begins at the beginner level to develop strength, confidence, and flexibility. As students progress, their instructor will provide new challenges and recommend when to move to the next level. Since every student is different, there is no fixed timeline for advancing. For safety, we may ask students to remain at a particular level longer if necessary. Instructors will focus on improving conditioning and control at every class level.
Once you reach Level 1 and instructor permission, you have the option to complement your class training with open gym sessions.
