
AERIAL ROPE
Also known as corde lisse, aerial rope is a vertically suspended, smooth rope. Students explore a variety of poses, wraps, and drops, blending strength and agility to create both elegant shapes and powerful, dynamic motion in the air. As you advance, you'll learn to connect individual skills into fluid sequences that incorporate spins, drops, and other dramatic movements. With each class, you'll build on your foundation and understanding of aerial theory, mastering more complex techniques and expanding your physical and creative limits.
Training begins at the beginner level to develop strength, confidence, and flexibility. As students progress, their instructor will provide new challenges and recommend when to move to the next level. Since every student is different, there is no fixed timeline for advancing. For safety, we may ask students to remain at a particular level longer if necessary. Instructors will focus on improving conditioning and control at every class level.
Once you receive instructor permission, you have the option to complement your class training with open gym sessions.
